I’ve been wanting to attend the “carving pumpkins with baby goats” events for at least 3 years now. I finally made it this year, and I took my niece with me. We had a great time! The staff was friendly and responsive. We went on a day it was muddy and rainy for most of the day, but the farm was still very well kept and clean. The animals were adorable, and the best experience for us was feeding all of the animals (pigs, bunnies, chicken, horses, etc) and being able to interact with them. 10/10 would recommend events here. I’ll for sure be back.
We visited so we could carve pumpkins with the goats. It was such a joyful, memorable experience! The goats were well-behaved (for goats). It was very easy to park and navigate the area and the setup for the pumpkin carving was efficient. All the animals looked very comfy and well-loved. My husband and I are very much looking forward to future visits!
We took 3 of our young grandchildren to Spring Haven Farm mostly for the goats. The kids got to see/pet/feed horses, yaks, pigs, roosters, partridge, and of course goats. This was late December and the farm was lightly attended. There were plenty of hand wash stations. All employees were very pleasant. But be prepared to drop a lot of cash. We found the cost to be quite high. We are still pleased that we made this experience with our grandchildren.
We love this place! My family and I have been many times and the kids love the many animals they have. The whole farm is very easy to walk around. You pay to get in and them you can stay as long as you want! They offer different things to feed the animals and a cute tractor pull ride!
It's great to have a farm right in the middle of the triangle and for children to experience petting and feeding animals! We went for the Halloween and pumpkin carving event, and the place was decorated beautifully. We enjoyed feeding the animals on the farm and also taking a little tractor ride and trying to find precious stones.. Overall, it's a beautiful tucked away in Chapel Hill and is worth a visit.
We took advantage of the beautiful weather one Saturday and drove 2.5 hours to the farm.
We paid general admission and got a pumpkin to carve with the goats.
The farm is small, organized, clean and very well cared for. They truly care about the animals and their farm. We exchanged pleasantries with everyone we saw working here, they were always genuinely friendly.
They had different stations of activities and everything was organized well with cute wood signs displayed for directions and animal names (and breeds).
It’s perfect for a family afternoon out, easily could kill 2 hours here. The price to get in was worth it, because it doesn’t appear that they’re greedy for money. It felt more like the admission went to the care and well being for the animals, clean up and activities. There were some extra charges for some activities but they aren’t over priced at all.
One tiny downside would be it might be a tad difficult for wheelchairs to be accessible in some areas. They could get around in some areas but might struggle in the gravel. Other than that, 10/10 and we will be following their FB page for more events!
Spring Haven Farm was sucha good time. We went to the smores with goats event and enjoyed being outside and able to socialize with all the animals. Reasonably priced and fun for everyone.
Very highly recommended! All the animals were friendly. The really small baby goats were wondering around freely. The bigger goats are in the pumpkin carving area. They love all carrots and will come to you if you have a bag of it in your hands!
